Amersham Bike Fit (“we”, “our” or “Phil Holloway”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits this website or contacts us for a fitting. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.
Who we are
The data controller is Phil Holloway, trading as Amersham Bike Fit. Address: 51 Quarrendon Road, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, HP7 9EF. Contact: amershambikefit@gmail.com.
What information we collect
- Contact details you provide when booking or enquiring — name, email address, phone number, message content, bike details.
- Fitting data gathered during your session — body measurements, flexibility observations, bike set-up records. Held in confidence and used to document your fit.
- Technical data automatically collected when you visit the website — IP address, browser type, pages visited. Used only to keep the site secure and understand how visitors use it.
How we use it
- To arrange and deliver your bike fitting session.
- To reply to enquiries sent through the contact form, by email or by phone.
- To keep a written record of your fit — so we can replicate it or tweak it if something shifts.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not use it for marketing without your specific consent.
How long we keep it
Fitting records are retained for as long as you remain a client (so we can refer back to them on return visits). Website enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact amershambikefit@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
